What is BulkSafe?
BulkSafe is a bulk product editor for Shopify. It lets you filter your catalog, update prices, tags and product details, preview before-and-after values, and undo confirmed changes from your history. It works inside Shopify admin without spreadsheets.
Which Shopify product fields can I bulk edit?
You can change prices, compare-at prices, tags, product status, vendor and product type. Find and replace is available for text in product titles, vendors and product types. Prices use your store’s base currency. Inventory, metafields, descriptions, CSV imports and separate Shopify Markets price lists are not supported in this release.
How do I select the right products?
Select individual products or filter by collection, vendor, tag, product type, status, title, price or SKU. Your preview shows the exact products and variants that need a change. Confirming an edit uses that saved selection; newly matching products are not added automatically.
Can I undo a bulk product edit?
Yes. Manual undo is included on every plan while saved history is available. BulkSafe restores confirmed changes to their saved values, skips detected newer edits or deleted products, and reports anything it could not restore. Coordinate overlapping edits from other apps or team members; undo is not a full-store backup.
How do bulk price reductions and sales work?
The Run a sale action starts a selling-price reduction. You choose your products and discount, then review and apply the change. Enable the original-price option to set the price and crossed-out compare-at price together. Undo restores both previous values; storefront display depends on your theme and market settings. BulkSafe updates product prices; it does not create discount codes or checkout discounts.
How do the product limits work?
Each distinct product changed in an operation counts once, including its variants. Free supports 10 products per operation, Basic 500, and Pro 5,000. There is no monthly edit quota. Manual undo is included and there are no automatic overage fees. Each operation supports up to 50,000 variant or field changes; a sale updating price and compare-at price together counts as one variant change.
Will BulkSafe slow down my storefront?
BulkSafe does not add storefront scripts or change your theme. It works inside Shopify admin and updates catalog data through Shopify. It does not request access to customer or order data.
What happens if I uninstall BulkSafe?
Applied catalog changes stay in Shopify. Pending operations and automatic restorations stop when you uninstall. Undo any changes you want to reverse before removing the app.
